A Giant Sea Slug!
Today, we found a very large Sea Slug at Illetes; we believe it is a specimen of Aplysia fasciata, commonly known as a Sooty Sea Slug or Sooty Sea Hare. This one was about 25cm in length and Sophia managed to snap some footage (with her hand for scale) and some photos too. We had no idea that these lived here or that they grew so large. (In fact, they can grow larger, to about 40 cm). They have short lives though- only about 1 year.
